Connie Rankin,

Founder of

Bridge Literacy Now

Connie transcended her childhood of life-threatening injury and sudden poverty, through her absolute faith in God and his plan for her life. From the moment her leg was almost severed at the knee, through months of agonizing recovery, and her mother’s lack of education that lead her family into a desperate cycle of poverty, Connie held on to one fact: God carries us through darkness until we are strong enough to stand on our own.

Bridge Literacy Now is a result of Connie's passion to raise awareness on the importance of literacy amongst Women and their Families.
